 HAZARDS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION

In today's modern lifestyle, we are much exposed to electronic devices at home and in the work place. Devices such as mobile phone, laptops are part of our daily life that we seem to be unaware of the health risks associated with electromagnetic radation emitted by such devices.

Currently, there are about 5 billion users of mobile phones worldwide as mobile phone and computer use have increased dramatically in the past few years. Recent studies by a panel of 31 scientists at the World Health Organization shows that mobile phone users may be at increased risk for two types of rare tumors  and should try to reduce their exposure emitted by the phones.

Other health risks include but are not limited to the following:

Brain aging

Tumor risk

Sleeplessness

Early onset of Alzheimer's

DNA damage

Blood cell agglutination

Infertility

SAR is a quantitative value that shows the amount of electromagnetic wave energy absorbed into a human body and is indicated in the unit of absorbed energy per time and weight (W/Kg).

As for SAR criteria, it is mandatory in the U.S.A., Canada, Australia, etc. that the electromagnetic wave absorption rate shall be no more than 1.6W/ per 1 of human body tissue on the average.

With this in mind, it is a health must to protect ones self from the adverse effects of prolonged exposure to electromagnetic radation.
